About My Clients
**CURRENTLY TAKING NEW CLIENTS** I have experience working with veterans., adolescents and adults. I have experience working with people struggling with anxiety, panic attacks, suicidal ideation, mood disorders, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, isolation addictive behaviors, substance abuse as well as anger issues.
My Background and Approach
I have over eight years of experience working in direct care with both adolescents and adults. I have a masters degree in mental health counseling. I have experience working with Individuals struggling with learning differences, thoughts of suicide, PTSD, depression, anxiety, homelessness, and other mental health differences. My goal is to put you in the driver seat and allow you to make the choices that are right for you on your journey of life. In my personal life, I have been able to learn how to overcome my own learning disabilities as well as cope and overcome stresses.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Seeking help is hard, but it is also one of the best things you can do for your life's journey and the people that are apart of it. Think of it this way if you had a broken leg you would not run a marathon before healing with the help of a doctor. Every day you are running the marathon of your life by trying to get along day to day. You could be struggling with anxiety, depression or any other issues with mental health. Seeking a therapist or counselor for your mental health is no different than seeing a doctor if you had that broken leg. I believe that we all can find stability and balance in life. As your counselor, I will collaborate with you on your journey of making and achieving relevant goals. You will learn coping skills to handle the stresses you have in living life's journey.
