About My Clients

My clients often feel stuck in old patterns, overwhelmed by emotions, or unsure of who they’re becoming. Many carry grief, shame, or cultural expectations that make it hard to move forward. I help people honor their past, embrace where they are, and move toward the future with hope. Whether we’re using talk, music, or art, I meet you where you are — no pressure, no judgment, just support.

My Background and Approach

Therapy with me is collaborative, creative, and rooted in trust. I believe healing happens when we stop trying to “fix” ourselves and start understanding who we are becoming. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing to support emotional growth, and I often bring storytelling for clients who connect more deeply through creativity. I also use strength-based and trauma-informed approaches to help clients feel safe, heard, and empowered. In session, I pay attention to the little details — not because they’re small, but because they matter. My goal is for you to leave therapy not just feeling better, but more whole. Sessions are available in English and Spanish.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a proud Latinx therapist, I believe that healing is not a straight line — it’s a process shaped by timing, culture, and identity. I strive to create a space where clients, especially those from marginalized backgrounds, feel seen, respected, and affirmed. I honor non-traditional paths to healing and embrace creative strategies to meet clients where they are, whether through music, art, humor, or silence. Therapy should feel like a conversation — not a performance. I also believe in celebrating small wins and reminding clients of how far they’ve come, even when they can’t see it yet. My work is guided by compassion, cultural humility, and a deep respect for each person’s pace and story.
