About My Clients
If you are someone who has struggled with things like self-esteem, healthy relationships, navigating daily stressors, grief, or generally having clarity about who you are and what you want in life - we might be a great fit!
My Background and Approach
My practice is built from a foundation of social justice and healthy equity values. I use person centered, trans feminist, intergenerational and systems frameworks in my work with clients. My style is eclectic, spiritual, and casual in nature (we really are two people building a relationship of our own). I want each and every client to feel like they are being lovingly met where they are and gently challenged to where they want to go. We can outline specific goals and topics to cover but also leave space for what comes up in the present moment. I often use spiritual modalities like tarot readings and moon rituals if the client feels called to it. My journey to becoming a therapist is a deeply personal one. I am here because I have had my own dark nights of the soul experiencing grief, anxiety and self-doubt while working towards self-alignment. I hope to be a guiding support for my clients now.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I identify as a cis-gender woman but am personally deeply connected to many in the LGBTQIA2S+ community. I consider myself a progressive who cares immensely about working towards racial, social, political, and environmental justice in our communities. I identify as a plus-size person and am committed to body liberation and pleasure advocacy. I also identify as neuro-divergent and advocate in my practice for folks trying to navigate an atypical world. I grew up living at or below the poverty line and understand how our capitalist system makes it often feel impossible to rise above. My family line is rooted in trauma, addiction and various systems of pain and this drives my passion to being a trauma informed therapist.
