About My Clients
I work with teens (13+) and adults, and I specialize in gender-affirming counseling, sexuality exploration, neurodivergent support (ASD/ADHD), relationship and identity development, and major life or career transitions. I’m also experienced in supporting polyamorous, ethically non-monogamous, and diverse relationship structures, helping clients deepen connection, improve communication, and build emotional resilience.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic approach is relational, trauma-informed, and deeply affirming. I prioritize intersectionality and recognize that each client’s story is shaped by the unique identities and lived experiences they hold. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and empowered to explore what matters most to you. I integrate Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support emotional processing, self-understanding, and meaningful change. I’ve completed advanced post-graduate training in Emotion-Focused Couples Therapy, including an EFT Externship in 2022.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy is a collaborative relationship—one where you can show up fully, explore your identity and emotions with honesty, and develop the tools you need to move forward with clarity and confidence. I aim to show up with both compassion and skill, offering evidence-based support that honors your autonomy, strengths, and complexity. I’m an active member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), the Society for Sexual, Affectional, Intersex, and Gender-Expansive Identities (SAIGE), and the American Rehabilitation Counseling Association (ARCA). I’m especially passionate about serving queer, trans, and gender-expansive clients, and I bring cultural humility and deep respect into every therapeutic relationship.
