About My Clients
I work with adults, young adults, pregnant and postpartum people to manage anxiety and mood, and to explore ways to adjust to life and family changes, parenthood and transitions. I often talk with clients about feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, very worried, exhausted or sad, and we look for strategies to find some support, excitement and joy in their day to day lives. I also love to help all people manage sleep behaviors using cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia.
My Background and Approach
My prior career as a litigation attorney for 17 years informs my work with professionals and others in high stress jobs as I am keenly aware of the impact stress and anxiety can have on our lives. During my time as a practicing attorney, I also worked to balance parenting and my career - I am a mother of three children, including twins. My experience as a working mother of three children under the age of three opened my eyes to the importance of the emotional well being of women and their partners and challenges faced by pregnant women and women in the postpartum period. As a lawyer and therapist, I am able to combine my interests in working with professionals, people with anxiety and depression, people experiencing life transitions, women in the perinatal period and people with sleep difficulties. My style of therapy is collaborative, interactive, and direct and I love working with clients to identify your personal goals and and support you in your effort to achieve them.

I am passionate about helping people manage mood, adjustment, and work/life balance. My work with clients is deeply important to me and gives me purpose every day. I pride myself on creating connections with clients and empowering them to use their own strengths, resilience, and knowledge to promote growth and healing.
