My Background and Approach
I am a licensed MFT and have been providing therapy for over 20 years to individuals & families. I specialize in parenting issues, anxiety, and how to communicate your needs and feelings to others around you. I am trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, and have taught over 100 parent workshops on issues of positive discipline, stress management, anger management. My clients often say after one session, "I feel so much better" because they realize they are "not going crazy" and that often their reactions and feelings are perfectly normal given their history or circumstances. Some of us do not have a safe place to explore our feelings and navigate what is the best next step, so therapy is a sacred space where trust, acceptance, joy and positive beliefs transform lives. I truly love my clients and work because I have the honor of watching the brave transformation of others when they take the next step in their journey toward wellness.

I believe that when you listen to an individual's story with compassion, you can help them identify how brave they have been to overcome their current challenges. Often we don't give ourselves enough credit for the amazing ways that we have survived up until now. I hope that by having the courage to explore your current situation with openness and honesty, I can help you see that you are capable of anything you put your heart to achieve.
