About My Clients
Do you have concerns or questions about your relationships, sexuality, or gender? Are you considering exploring non-monogamy, kink, or BDSM? Do you identify as LGBTQIA+ and want a therapist who will affirm your identity as you process life transitions, anxiety, or depression? My clients come to therapy for a variety of reasons and seek an affirming space to talk about these concerns and more.
My Background and Approach
I am a gender, sexual, and relationship diversity therapist. I am passionate about providing an affirming environment for exploring and discussing your concerns, questions, emotions, and experiences. My goal is to provide a warm, genuine, nonjudgmental space where you can process difficult emotions, gain insight, and learn practical skills that can impact your life and relationships. I would be honored to work with you. My specialty training includes LGBTQIA+ Affirmative Therapy Specialty (SMU), Sex Therapy, Consensual Non-Monogamy Certification (Sexual Health Alliance), LGBTQ+ CBT Affirmative Therapy Certificate (Yale University Public Health).
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe you are the expert on yourself and I want to empower you as we collaborate on your care. I believe our culture/environment has a significant impact on how we view ourselves and how we interact with others. I became a therapist because of my own experiences with sexuality, kink/BDSM, gender, and relationships. From my own experiences, extensive training, and my work as a therapist, I know how powerful it can be to have a nonjudgmental space to process the impact of culture and come to better understand ourselves.
