About My Clients

Do you ever find yourself struggling with intrusive, unwanted, recurring thoughts-thoughts that no matter how hard you try to push them away, just keep coming back stronger? Do you find yourself stuck in a loop of endless doubt? Is anxiety getting in the way of your daily life, making it difficult for you to perform at work, be present with loved ones, or be the person you want to be? Anxiety and obsessive doubt can make you feel stuck- but the good news is that you don't have to stay that way.

My Background and Approach

I am an OCD and anxiety specialist with over 7 years of experience. I have worked across multiple levels of care including Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and traditional outpatient settings. This has given me extensive experience and expertise working with individuals of all ages across a wide range of symptoms and severity levels. I use evidenced based modalities such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)-considered the "gold standard" when treating OCD- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). OCD and anxiety tend to pull us away from the people, activities and values that matter most. My goal is to reconnect you with what's important and live a life that is no longer dictated by fear.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that everyone deserves to live a life that is guided by their values, not their fears. My own experience with OCD inspired me to become a therapist and shapes the way I approach this work. I know firsthand how convincing OCD can be and how difficult recovery can feel, which is why I am committed to meeting every client with honesty, compassion, and authenticity. As a queer therapist, I am passionate about providing LGBTQIA+ affirming care and creating a space where people from all backgrounds feel accepted, respected, and understood. Outside of therapy I enjoy Broadway musicals, crocheting, comedy, hanging out with my cat Liam, or spending time with loved ones.
