About My Clients
I work with individuals looking to be active in therapy, heal from trauma, increase their ability to cope with stress, and strengthen their relationships. I'm also neurodiversity-affirming. As a client, you will be treated with respect, care, and will be affirmed for who you are.
My Background and Approach
For over a decade, I have worked with individuals with varying backgrounds and support needs to help them reach their unique therapy goals. I believe a personalized approach works best. The approaches I draw from include humanistic, somatic, attachment, trauma informed, and cognitive behavioral strategies, which I believe can be customized to help you process what you're going through and move towards healing and growth. I specialize in working with individuals with anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress. I also enjoy providing neurodiversity-affirming therapy to those on the Autism Spectrum. In addition, I'm certified as a trauma specialist and complete ongoing training in trauma informed care.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that the therapeutic relationship gives insight into all other areas of your life and many of the thoughts, emotions and physical reactions you experience in your life and relationships, can be processed within the therapeutic relationship. It is my belief that growth and healing take place both in relationship and within one's self. I also believe we are impacted by the larger systems around us, which include complex societal and cultural factors. Above all, I believe that therapy should be a safe and protected place to explore all of who you are.
