We all have moments in life when we are worried and/or feel anxious. But sometimes anxiety and/or obsessive compulsive disorder can become overwhelming. Without treatment, anxiety and ocd can take control of your life and your family structure.. I will teach you how anxiety works, and the skills you need to manage worries, anxiety, OCD and depression.
My Background and Approach
I use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Exposure and Response Prevention. I will work with you to develop strategies to manage repetitive negative thoughts and teach you how to develop a different response to your intrusive thoughts.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
We all develop patterns of thinking that are not helpful. However, I believe each person can work to change the pattern of their thoughts with results that lead to a more positive and values driven life.
