About My Clients

If you've been feeling stuck in therapy, going around in circles with minimal progress, I can help you transition from your head space to your heart space, facilitating real and sustainable change. Whether it’s gaining insight into your behaviors and relationships, digging deeper to heal wounds from your past, or simply releasing the negative energy that holds you back, I can customize a wellness plan just for you in a safe space for creativity and exploration.

My Background and Approach

I offer a range of therapeutic modalities for adolescents, teens, and adults of all ages, emphasizing self-exploration and self-expression, including music therapy, sound healing with Himalayan and crystal singing bowls, guided meditation, animal-assisted therapy, therapeutic art, therapeutic recreation, creative movement, writing, games, and nature experiences. These evidence-based practices foster positive change psychosocially, cognitively, physiologically, developmentally, existentially, and spiritually. I employ an eclectic and psychodynamic approach to address specific goals from a holistic perspective, covering areas such as emotional management, self-regulation, social and relationship skills, communication skills, mindfulness, healthy boundaries, relapse prevention, problem-solving, self-care, coping skills, goals and motivation, intention and purpose, overcoming triggers, stress management, and overall health and wellness.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Are you surviving, living, or thriving? I believe in the power of integrated arts for learning and coping, healing and releasing...and ultimately thriving. I believe in diversity, equity, and inclusion. I am an advocate and an ally. I believe you should be who you are and love who you love. My values include compassion, equality, authenticity, integrity, honesty, loyalty, gratitude, courage, and optimism. I believe we can climb out from rock bottom, and we can free ourselves through action with intention. I've crawled through the muck myself and with deep introspection and hard work (and tons of support), I emerged renewed, regulated, ready, and resilient. I can guide you in your journey so you experience the confidence, pride, and self-love you deserve. Repeat out loud: Self-care is not selfish. It's necessity!
