About My Clients
Every day I work with clients who tell me they have been wanting to come to therapy for months (or even YEARS!) and they just kept putting it off! There is never enough time, never enough of a reason why, and they want to be able to figure things out on their own. I understand that. Really- I do. But you should not have to do it alone! I work with a variety of life issues including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, low Self-esteem, career stress, and body image.
My Background and Approach
If any of this sounds like you, I want you to know that I SEE YOU, I hear you, and there is hope for change. I know what it takes to break the toxic cycle that is smothering your ability to be happy and truly love yourself. Therapy is the place to find yourself and discover that you are worth so much more. This isn’t who God created you to be and deep down you know that. Whether counseling is new to you or if you’ve tried and had little success in the past- now is the time to make the investment in yourself. I work with clients to shed those expectations that are so unfulfilling. Together, we release painful things from the past that have told you who you are, and we re-write your story so that you are in control of your future. Building confidence, a new sense of love for yourself, and undoubtedly knowing your worth. You deserve this.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a therapist, I want to empower women and men to shed the unreasonable expectations that the world has given us and discover the beautifully designed identity God intended. Uniquely made with specific gifts that the people in our lives need. Healing from the past and learning a new way of thinking leads to a renewed sense of self and inner happiness that we all desperately need! I am a therapist, but I'm also a wife, a bonus mom, a small business owner, and a dog mom! There's a good chance you will hear about Mojo and Madeline, my fur babies, in session from time to time. I think you will quickly see that my openness and down-to-earth approach will help you feel at ease about therapy. You deserve this and I cannot wait to see what is in store for you.
