I have worked the last few years with families struggling with parenting; whether it be issues with establishing clear expectations, rules, rewards, and consequences, parent alignment, effective communication, etc. I help parents to identify factors that are contributing to their top concerns, and develop and implement plans to address those concerns.

I specialize in helping women with many common issues women face. Whether you are struggling in your current relationship, or a relationship that recently ended. Whether you are struggling to manage things at home with your children and have a life outside of being a "mom," or a "wife." Whether you are struggling with your career such as feeling unappreciated or dissatisfied with where you are professionally.

My focus has been working with families the last few years and I very much enjoy it. I have helped families who have been struggling to stay together whether it be due to parental conflict which impacts the children and other family members, or behavioral issues in the children that are causing family conflict. I believe that each family member has a role in the larger family unit. I help families with tools to better utilize their strengths which help them achieve their overall goals.

I work best with clients who acknowledge that they are struggling with something or even recognize that they would like to improve in an area, and are ready to make those changes. Solution-focused therapy is very goal-oriented, and takes a look at the present and the future. I help clients recognize specifically what they would like to change, identify strengths, and then help them develop a plan to overcome or manage their issues.

My focus has been working with families the last few years. I help families recognize their strengths and their areas of need, and develop plans to more effectively function as a family.

I have utilized cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) throughout my work in the mental health field. I help clients to identify their thoughts and behaviors that are not working, and adopt more effective thoughts and behaviors to help improve their situation.
