Accepting Clients

Helping children, teens, and young adults to identify barriers keeping them from living a life of true authenticity is my passion.

Licensed Professional Counselor in Dallas, TX

About My Clients

I use my 30 years of counseling experience to assess and treat developmental, identity, and family issues. I am client centered and adapt to meet the needs of my clients and their families.

My Background and Approach

In addition to being licensed as an LPC, I have a PhD in Brain and Behavior from UTD. I am also certified in psychotherapeutic yoga. My tool bag consists of play therapy, mindfulness, and cognitive-behavioral techniques designed to meet client goals.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I consider myself a child advocate and that role guides my practice and volunteer work. I have been a CASA volunteer for 10 years and currently serve on the board of Dallas Childcare Group, a nonprofit that uses a two-generation model to provide quality childcare and early intervention to children of poverty. I am also developing an APP to connect college-aged young adults to the best therapists in their college town.
