About My Clients
Do you appear strong and capable on the outside while feeling anxious, depressed, exhausted, or disconnected within? Maybe you put everyone else first, hide what you are experiencing, or keep pushing forward even when you feel depleted. Trauma, grief, relationship concerns, life transitions, low self-worth, and people-pleasing can leave you feeling stuck. You do not have to navigate it alone. Together, we can develop practical tools, strengthen boundaries, and help you move toward healing.
My Background and Approach
My approach is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, with practical skills from CBT and DBT incorporated to meet your individual needs. Together, we will explore how your thoughts, emotions, past experiences, and patterns may be affecting your life today. I will help you develop tools to manage difficult emotions, reduce feelings of overwhelm, establish healthier boundaries, and respond to challenges in ways that align with your values. My background includes working with adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and major life transitions in both intensive treatment and private-practice settings. Therapy with me is collaborative, compassionate, and paced according to what feels comfortable for you. I provide a calm, grounded, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel seen and heard while gaining insight, strengthening resilience, and taking practical steps toward meaningful, lasting change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every person deserves to feel seen, heard, valued, and accepted without judgment. For more than 20 years, I have been passionate about advocating for children and women whose voices were often overlooked, including serving as a CASA volunteer for children in foster care. These experiences strengthened my belief in the importance of safety, compassion, resilience, and helping others recognize their own voice and worth. I value authenticity, kindness, personal growth, and meeting people where they are rather than where others believe they should be. I also believe meaningful change does not require perfection. It begins with feeling supported, identifying what matters most, and taking small, intentional steps toward the life and relationships you want.
