About My Clients
In my practice, I am deeply committed to supporting a diverse clientele with a particular focus on perinatal mental health and the unique challenges faced by Black and Brown women. I provide a compassionate space for individuals grappling with a range of mental health issues and personal struggles. This includes anxiety, depression, childhood and racial trauma, the complexities of motherhood, vicarious trauma, and the pursuit of work/life balance. Each client's journey is met with understanding.
My Background and Approach
I offer several treatments that have been found to work with people impacted by depression, anxiety, and trauma. I am certified in Perinatal Mental Health. I tailor each treatment to meet your individual needs while consciously considering your unique cultural background.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I've seen firsthand the need for mental health treatment and prevention throughout my life. As a Black woman from a low-income community, I recognize many of the barriers to seeking help and remaining vulnerable. I thoroughly believe in recovery and becoming healthier.
