About My Clients
I specialize in Bipolar disorder, mood disorders (such as depression or intense anger), suicidal thoughts, children of divorce, step-parenting, and blended families. I have worked with many folks coming out of higher levels of care such as psychiatric hospitalization, IOP, PHP, residential, and wilderness therapy. I provide individual and/or family therapy online once per week or more. I am an expert in suicide risk assessment and crisis deescalation.
My Background and Approach
I'm a social worker, trained in Chicago, with a former career in high intensity therapy settings. I use DBT and CBT approaches.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I'm a mom and step-mom, daughter of a transwoman, and a person living with (highly managed) chronic mental illness. An overachiever and a Stardew Valley player.
