About My Clients
I focus on supporting individuals navigating anxiety, ADHD, burnout, stress, identity exploration, and relationship challenges. My work is grounded in attachment theory, interpersonal neurobiology, and play therapy—all evidence-informed approaches that prioritize the healing power of the therapeutic relationship.
My Background and Approach
My approach is grounded in attachment theory, interpersonal neurobiology, and play therapy. These relational and trauma-informed modalities center the therapeutic relationship as a key source of healing. In our work together, I focus on creating a safe, affirming space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without fear of judgment or shame. Whether you're navigating ADHD, anxiety, burnout, identity formation, or family stress, therapy can be a place to feel seen, supported, and soothed.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My upbringing, while not wholly original, does provide me with a unique perspective to help my clients as they navigate the complexities of identify, belonging, and mental health in today’s world. So much of my experience is based on my own journey. I am neurodiverse (ADHD) but not diagnosed until I was well into adulthood. I was raised culturally Catholic but I have not attended church services in well over a decade. I am bi-cultural, Mexican and white, yet I have struggled to fully connect to my cultural roots as a white passing descendent of immigrants who faced painful racism. All of this allows me to connect deeply with other neurodivergent adults, culturally diverse individuals, and those deconstructing inherited belief systems. As a therapist, I am honored to be a part of your story. I hope that together, with humor and curiosity, we can help you move through this difficult season.
