About My Clients
You may be exploring or questioning your relationship with alcohol or other substances. You may be feeling stagnant with your goals and not seeing the progress you would like. You may be struggling with a relationship or with self-esteem issues. At times, people feel they are having trouble managing these issues on their own, and this is where the support of a therapist can be helpful.
My Background and Approach
I work from a strengths-based perspective. My approach is to collaborate with you in identifying and working towards your goals. I work from a place of reducing harm and distressing symptoms while exploring and increasing healthy coping. I use CBT techniques to help explore how your thoughts contribute to your feelings. I also utilize psychoeducation, mindfulness techniques, and space for you to process emotions. I tap into my patient’s resiliency, which exists in every individual I work with.
