About My Clients
I frequently work with tween/teen girls and young adult women who are experiencing concerns including: anxiety and stress, depression/mood disorders, behavioral and emotional dysregulation, social problems, family conflict, and trauma-related issues. I also provide comprehensive psychological evaluations to individuals ages 6 and up to help individuals and families gain diagnostic clarification and receive the services and support they need to flourish in school and life.
My Background and Approach
I began my career as a postdoctoral fellow in the Child and Family Therapy Clinic at the Kennedy Krieger Institute/Johns Hopkins University, where I provided individual and family therapy to children, teens, and families. I continued my training with a second postdoctoral fellowship in child and family forensic psychology at William James College, where I conducted child custody evaluations for the court system. Upon completing my training, I worked as a psychologist in the MA public school system for over five years. There, I provided therapeutic services and comprehensive psychological assessments for students as well as conducting and participating in IEP meetings. I strive to foster a safe and non-judgmental environment for clients to explore their emotions, better understand and express themselves, and develop the resilience and coping skills required to manage the challenges they encounter. I employ evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each individual's needs.
