About My Clients
Many of the people I work with are struggling with trauma, anxiety, chronic stress, or difficult life transitions. They may feel overwhelmed, stuck in unhelpful patterns, disconnected from themselves or others, or unsure why they continue to react the way they do. While every person's story is unique, they often share a desire to better understand themselves, feel more grounded, and create meaningful, lasting change.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and EMDR Certified Therapist providing teletherapy to adults throughout California. My experience in the mental health field spans more than 15 years and includes work in schools, community mental health, county behavioral health, and private practice settings. My approach integrates EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and polyvagal-informed principles. I believe symptoms often make sense in the context of a person's life experiences, and therapy can provide an opportunity to better understand those patterns while developing new ways of responding to challenges. I strive to create a therapeutic space that feels supportive, collaborative, and tailored to each individual's needs. Together, we work toward healing, emotional regulation, greater self-understanding, and meaningful change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing happens within a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship. Therapy is about understanding experiences, building on strengths, and creating opportunities for growth. I respect each person's unique story and pace of healing. My role is to provide guidance, compassion, and evidence-based tools while supporting clients as they move toward greater connection, confidence, and well-being. I believe meaningful change is possible, even when challenges feel overwhelming or long-standing.
