About My Clients
My clients are adults learning how to meet themselves with compassion in the midst of change. They often feel like they’re falling behind or missing something everyone else seems to have figured out. We work together to combat burnout and to strengthen your own inner voice. I also work with those adjusting to health changes and navigating the world of chronic illness by helping them reconnect with who they are and gently find their way forward.
My Background and Approach
I began my career in community mental health, working in an outpatient setting that provided in-home services to clients with a wide range of needs and experiences. That work grounded me in the value of meeting people where they are and adapting as needed. Now in private practice, I bring that same spirit of flexibility and respect into all of my sessions. My approach is integrative and tailored to the individual. I draw primarily from person-centered therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), while incorporating tools from CBT and Internal Family Systems when helpful. I believe therapy should adapt to fit you, not the other way around, and I aim to create a space where your experience is honored and your voice leads the way.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a person living with disability and chronic illness, I understand the deep impact that health, identity, and accessibility can have on our mental well-being. My lived experience informs my practice, helping me hold space for others with compassion, curiosity, and zero judgment. I’m committed to creating an inclusive, affirming environment for all clients regardless of background, identity, or ability. I stand in solidarity with LGBTQIA+ folks, BIPOC communities, and others who have been marginalized or underserved by systems of care. I'm passionate about equity, autonomy, and challenging the idea that we need to "push through" pain to be worthy. You deserve care that meets you where you are.
