About My Clients
I help clients struggling with a variety of concerns such as anxiety, depression, family conflict, relational issues, trauma, suicidal ideation, mood dysregulation, and more. In my DBT-informed groups, I aid those who struggle to understand what is happening internally (thoughts, feelings, sensations, and impulses) while also empowering them to use the skills to accept a current difficult situation.
My Background and Approach
I lead DBT-informed skills training groups for both teens and adults. I promote the skills from the four main modules of DBT. The treatment focus is on the following areas; individuals who refuse to go to or participate in school, have chronic avoidance issues, behavioral concerns, relational difficulties, impulsivity, self-harming behaviors, suicidal ideation, difficult-to-treat anxiety and/or depression, and persistent relationship struggles. The group runs on a rotating basis, and members can join any 3-week or 6-week module. The participants who are enrolled in the teen group are also offered family sessions bi-weekly.
