I have worked in a variety of clinical settings over the past seven years and have experience treating a variety of issues. I enjoy helping clients address family of origin trauma, sexual and relationship issues, mood disorders, and personality disorders. I also have experience working with adolescents, families, and addictions.
My Background and Approach
Past clients would say that I am personable, humorous when appropriate, and insight oriented in my approach. I use a combination of schema therapy, psychodynamic, and emotionally focused therapy in my work.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that most of us have experienced trauma or some type of hardship in our lives. When this trauma occurs early on or in childhood, it can lead us to form limiting beliefs about ourselves--this is what keeps us stuck, depressed, and anxious in the present! I want to help you identify these limiting beliefs so that you can reach your fullest potential and feel greater peace and contentment in your life and in your relationships!
