About My Clients
I work with women, female-identifying individuals and music industry professionals navigating trauma, abuse recovery, anxiety, panic and burnout. Clients find their way to me when they are tired of carrying the weight of past wounds, managing their high functioning anxiety, wrestling with negative self-talk and self-doubt, and needing support with cultivating a more curious, compassionate sense of self. I offer flexible scheduling with in-person and virtual options.
My Background and Approach
I’ve spent 7 years working in several meaningful corners of the mental health field, beginning in a residential treatment center for co-occurring disorders in Vermont, to leading support groups for survivors of sexual exploitation, and most recently, providing mental health care to touring and recording artists at a non-profit. I am passionate about trauma work, incorporating EMDR and Brainspotting to process difficult experiences, and using relational, attachment-based approaches like Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy and Narrative Therapy to move clients toward gentle yet powerful change. I've lived in Nashville for over 10 years and my love for this city is embedded into the work I do as a therapist. I want to help cultivate a more compassionate, open-minded city through helping each client I serve offer more kindness, curiosity and compassion to themselves, no matter what their story holds.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am LGBTQIA+ affirming and believe in protecting and preserving the dignity and safety of all humans. I work from a trauma-informed care lens in my professional work but strive to live it in my personal life as well. I am a lifelong learner and passionate about walking alongside people from despair to hope to healing.
