About My Clients
It is important as a counselor to co-create a space where clients feel comfortable sharing their unique stories. In counseling, I take a collaborative and strengths-based approach, understanding that all of my clients come from diverse backgrounds. Issues I have addressed with children, adolescents, and adults in counseling include depression, anxiety, grief and loss, career development, identity development, family conflict, body image, and interpersonal relationship concerns.
My Background and Approach
I received my Masters in Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2020. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHCA #A16166) in the state of North Carolina as well as a Nationally Certified Counselor (#1404391). My approach to counseling is grounded in person-centered, narrative, and solution-focused theoretical orientations as well as cognitive behavioral therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that counseling is an experience all people can benefit from.
