About My Clients
I work with adults-mostly in their 30s through 80s-navigate the big changes and transitions in their lives or the lives of their family (ex: school or job changes, relationships/friendship dynamics, grief, family concerns, feeling alone). These changes can impact how we see ourselves, how we communicate with our loved ones, and how we engage in our lives. I help people figure out what's next when life shifts so they can make confident decision and find their own path forward.
My Background and Approach
I have worked in the Minneapolis Public Schools, Colleges, local mental health clinics, and as a Hospice volunteer. I know that transition is all around us. How we react to change informs how we want to respond to change, and change is hard. You are not alone is trying to figure out how to navigate all the different transitions around you. I hold Master Degrees in both Social Work (LICSW) and Holistic Health Studies. I am certified in AIR/Anchored Relational Therapy and Brainspotting. In addition, I am trained in Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) basics, and Advanced Mind-Body Medicine. Simply put, I focus on building an understanding of what motivates us and why.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a gender affirming, sex /sexuality positive, and body positive provider. I know reaching out to a therapist can be daunting and takes both time and energy. I aim to make this process as easy and accessible as possible. I offer a free 20-min phone call to answer any questions and see if we are a good fit. I look forward to hearing from you.
