About My Clients
I work with people who are looking for support in improving their mental health and emotional well-being. This person may be struggling with anxiety, depression, disordered eating, chronic pain, ADHD, OCD, Stress or burnout and discussing their concerns in a compassionate and empathetic space is important to them. I believe in creating a safe and judgment-free environment for clients to explore challenges and emotions and prioritize a person-centered approach.
My Background and Approach
As a therapist with a background in human development and holistic health care, I bring a wealth of experience and openness to working with adults and teens from many walks of life. My Person-Centered approach means that I focus on collaboration and on creating a safe space where people can explore their thoughts and emotions. I utilize an eclectic, evidence-based framework that included CBT, Motivational Interviewing, ERT, Breathwork and Family Systems Therapy, and I am a trained EMDR therapist. Whether it is anxiety, depression, relationship or work stress, or struggles with body image and self-worth, I am committed to helping my clients achieve transformative and long-lasting change through tailored compassionate care.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that every individual has the right to lead a fulfilling and meaningful life, and that therapy can help facilitate growth and change toward reaching that goal. I am committed to creating a compassionate and non-judgmental environment where individuals can feel safe exploring where they feel stuck in their life. I work to be culturally informed and I am also aware that I don't know everything and there may be pieces of your world that are unfamiliar to me that I want to get to know because all parts of who you are impact your mental health and life experience.
