About My Clients
Do you struggle with you self worth, how you look, and in the relationships you have. I understand that body image issues, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, and relationship difficulties can be interconnected, and I take a holistic approach to treating these issues in session. By addressing these concerns together, we can work towards fostering a positive self-image, reducing anxiety and depression symptoms, and improving relationships with ourselves and others.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic approach involves empathy, compassion, mindfulness, and collaboration. I provide a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can openly express their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Together, we will explore the underlying factors contributing to these challenges and develop effective coping strategies. I draw upon evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) to address body image concerns, enhance self-esteem, manage anxiety and depression symptoms, and improve relationship dynamics. I believe in tailoring the treatment to each client's unique needs and goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am passionate about assisting people to develop a positive relationship with their bodies and cultivate a strong sense of self-worth. I have had my own struggles with depression, my body image, and self worth. I want to be that person that I never had as a person existing in life. I want to be able to provide support and walk the path of healing with you. My mind is not always plagued with throughs of how I look or if I am good enough now and I want to be able to help you feel that freedom as well. I am a huge nerd and could talk for hours about fantasy, sci-fi, and anime. I also spend a lot of my free time with my dog and genuinely believe they are mans best friend.
