I view therapy as an opportunity to better understand the patterns, relationships, and experiences that impact our ways of being. In the context of a safe and collaborative relationship, we can explore and understand your stories, patterns, and themes. Together, we will begin to uncover the path towards a more full, flexible, authentic, and joyful life.
My approach is rooted in the work of psychoanalytic psychotherapy and existential phenomenological psychotherapy. Each of these modalities of therapeutic change are based on a respect for the uniqueness of each person’s experience and the distinct ways in which we engage with each other, the world, and our own inner lives.
Born and raised in Dallas, TX, I earned my bachelor’s degree at Harvard University before moving to Seattle where I built a career as a marketing executive for tech companies. After my own process of self exploration, I returned to school and earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Seattle University.
