Clients often come to me struggling with perfectionism, anxiety, and people-pleasing behaviors, feeling weighed down by a harsh inner critic and the pressure to meet external expectations. They may experience feelings of isolation, shame, or worthlessness, which can make it challenging to navigate their emotions and relationships.
My Background and Approach
I am a trauma informed therapist that uses evidence based therapy modalities to help you understand the patterns and strategies that keep you stuck. If these techniques mean anything to you, I use both EMDR and IFS to help clients befriend their protective system so they can move towards healing. I also have specialized training in ERP and I-CBT for OCD.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I'm passionate about helping you nurture a supportive connection with yourself — one filled with curiosity rather than judgment, compassion over harshness, confidence over doubt, and creativity over feeling uninspired. When we cultivate a rich inner relationship with ourselves, our connections with others naturally flourish. I have found through my own personal journey with therapy, a deep and profound healing that has allowed me to show up as my authentic self and be present.
