About My Clients
You’re used to keeping it together on the outside, but underneath, your nervous system is exhausted from surviving. If unresolved trauma, chronic anxiety, or old survival patterns have left you running on fumes, you need targeted care that addresses what’s happening beneath the surface. In our work together, we move past surface-level talk therapy to process past distress at the neurological root.
My Background and Approach
My approach goes beyond traditional talk therapy to help you heal at both a brain and body level. When painful experiences get stuck, talking through them isn’t always enough to help your nervous system feel truly safe. To create lasting change, I use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help reprocess unresolved trauma, release lingering distress, and unblock stubborn patterns. I weave this alongside Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help you connect with the different parts of yourself. Because insight often deepens through hands-on expression, our work can also incorporate expressive arts and experiential tools to explore what words alone might miss. Rooted in warmth and collaboration, I offer a steady, grounded space where you can gently rebuild trust within yourself.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that healing happens in genuine connection, where every part of who you are is welcomed without judgment. My clinical work and personal values are rooted in empathy and relational safety. I view therapy as an active partnership, and I recognize that personal well-being cannot be separated from the systemic realities, cultural contexts, and communities we live within. I am committed to providing care that is trauma-informed and LGBTQIA+ celebrating. Beyond individual sessions, I care deeply about expanding accessible mental health care in underserved and rural communities, strengthening community crisis response, and building spaces where people feel truly seen and supported. Outside the therapy room, you can usually find me working with my hands, fostering creative community gatherings, and finding grounding in the outdoors.
