My Background and Approach
As a certified Heart-Centered Practitioner, I integrate somatic informed practices into my sessions to help clients reconnect with their bodies and feel more grounded. Additionally, my background in art therapy allows me to invite creative expression into the process for those who find healing through making, movement, and imagination. I tailor my sessions utilizing a variety of modalities including DBT, CBT, IFS, and Motivational Interviewing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My practice is rooted in social justice, body liberation, and identity-affirming care, ensuring that clients of all backgrounds, genders, and sexualities feel safe and respected. I operate from a deeply trauma-informed, anti-racist, and an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community framework. I believe that systemic oppression directly impacts our mental and physical well-being. By honoring your lived experiences and intersecting identities, we work together not just to manage symptoms, but to foster genuine, holistic liberation and self-acceptance. You are welcome here exactly as you are.
