About My Clients
My practice focuses on teens and young adults (ages 12- 28), and I have deep experience supporting those exploring their identities—including LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and bicultural identities. I have extensive experience supporting clients navigating depression, anxiety, PTSD, and complex trauma. I also work with individuals facing overlapping mental health challenges, including OCD and emerging personality disorders.
My Background and Approach
I have over 7 years of experience supporting youth and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, and trauma. My work is especially focused on bicultural Latinx and LGBTQ+ youth, and I strive to provide a safe, affirming, and culturally responsive space where clients feel seen and understood. I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), an evidence-based approach that helps individuals process and heal from trauma in a structured, supportive way. My approach is collaborative and client-centered—I focus on your goals, help you identify your strengths, and work with you to find strategies that align with who you are and how you move through the world. Clients often share that after just a few sessions, they begin to feel more empowered, confident, and capable of managing their emotions and challenges. My aim is to help you build lasting tools for emotional wellness while honoring your unique identity and lived experience.
