About My Clients
Wanted to start therapy for years and just haven't been able to schedule the appointment? Worried that you might be judged? Curious about using creativity in therapy? Interested in gaining a deeper understanding of your unique mind to learn how to use your natural strengths more effectively? If so, we may be a good fit. I enjoy working with neurodiverse folks who are seeking understanding and want more tailored strategies to help them reach their goals and build up their self-esteem.
My Background and Approach
As a person with ADHD, working with neurodiverse people is my passion. I offer a supportive and non-judgemental space to help you explore all of your possibilities. If it feels overwhelming, you don't have to do it alone, we can work together to figure it out. A combination of art making and discussion can help us cut through mental roadblocks and gain insight into how you feel and what you need to get traction to move forward in life. I try to always bring my authentic self into my sessions so that my clients feel safe and comfortable to do the same. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I feel that some of my most powerful strengths as a clinician are my warmth and humor. It is important to me that my clients don't feel judgement from me, we get enough of that from the outside world. When I am not working, I enjoy being creative (surprise!), gardening and being outdoors in general, spending time with my dog, working on puzzles, and listening to audiobooks.
