About My Clients
I believe there is power in a collaborative, warm, and empathic therapeutic relationship and feel honored to share in my clients’ journeys towards personal growth, greater life satisfaction, and fulfillment. I welcome feedback and discussion of our experience in session together and we will work together to direct our sessions and adjust as needs change. If this sounds like the type of therapeutic experience you are searching for, feel free to reach out! I look forward to hearing from you.
My Background and Approach
I have over 10 years experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families. I attended Temple Universally as an undergraduate, and Rosemont College for my graduate education. I am level 2 trained in EMDR and incorporate a variety of strategies such as IFS, cognitive strategies, psychodynamics, and experiential techniques into my practice. I have practiced in a variety locations ranging from in home services for children with developmental diagnoses to the school setting, running an in house mental health program in Philadelphia schools, to outpatient settings and private practice. I believe in tailoring my approach to the individual and meeting them where they are on their path towards symptom relief and personal growth. I am passionate about using a variety of techniques and transferring skills to my clients that help them to move through challenging times in their lives.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone has the ability to grow, change, and evolve through exploring oneself, gaining an understanding of our journey, and using this insight to inform how we move through life going forward. My approach is eclectic and I enjoy using curiosity to explore with my clients together collaboratively to arrive at a collective sense and understanding of their internal world. My hope is that clients leave session feeling heard, validated, and inspired.
