About My Clients
I work with young adults and individuals from diverse backgrounds, including BIPOC communities, who are navigating life transitions, burnout, and depression. Many of my clients are college students, early-career professionals, or first-generation individuals who may feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or unsure of their direction. I also support clients who are exploring identity development, managing relationship stress, and coping with the pressure to meet personal or cultural expectations
My Background and Approach
I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work and am trained in Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). These evidence-based approaches allow me to tailor treatment to each client’s needs—whether that means building practical coping skills, processing difficult experiences, or focusing on strengths and achievable change. I have experience working with diverse populations, including individuals from inner-city communities facing economic and socioeconomic challenges. This background has strengthened my ability to provide culturally responsive care and to understand the broader systems and stressors that can impact mental health. My approach is collaborative, goal-oriented, and grounded in helping clients develop the tools they need to navigate challenges, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Outside of my clinical work, I value community connection and giving back. In my free time, I enjoy volunteering with grassroots organizations focused on creating positive change within my community. This work is important to me because it reflects my belief in equity, access, and the importance of supporting individuals and communities impacted by systemic challenges. These values also inform my approach to therapy, as I strive to provide a space that is inclusive, empowering, and responsive to each person’s unique experiences.
