About My Clients
Hi, I've been privileged to train with many but especially 2 of the renowned child-adolescent psychiatrists in North Texas! I do comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and medication treatment for numerous psychiatric disorders. My specialty populations are children, adolescents and adults who have experienced trauma. I also have experience treating women with pre- or post-partum mood and anxiety disorders. Let's connect, as I would love to help you through this journey.
My Background and Approach
I am a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC), I also graduated from the renowned University of Texas at Arlington. During my training, I did my rotation experiences in both outpatient and inpatient psychiatric hospital, to be better equipped to handle numerous psychiatric conditions. For my clients, especially the child population, I ensure we have trialed non medication approaches first, and even then precisely select medication options that are evident to be safer and effective. I do take safety, labs, and overall medication monitoring seriously, as the goal is not just mental wellbeing but also entire body's wellness. I do some forms of therapy approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychoeducation, and motivational interviewing. However, most of my clients are connected with therapists, who specialize in their area of needs. I am proud to say that most clients usually achieve treatment success and hopefully you too!
