About My Clients

I work with teens and families who are navigating trauma, identity challenges, and difficult life transitions. Many of my clients carry the weight of past experiences, cultural expectations, or family struggles that impact their well-being. I create a safe, compassionate space where clients feel seen and understood, while building on their strengths to foster healing, resilience, and meaningful change.

My Background and Approach

I believe counseling is most effective when I meet clients where they are. Each person’s story is unique, so I adapt my approach to your needs, challenges, and goals. My approach is humanistic, emphasizing an authentic, trusting relationship and a supportive space to explore your past, understand your present, and imagine your future without judgment. I view counseling through individual, cultural, and systemic lenses, recognizing how history, identity, and social systems shape our experiences. My work is trauma-informed, centering safety, stability, and empowerment throughout the process. Healing happens best when clients feel seen, understood, and respected, so I listen deeply, collaborate closely, and build on your strengths. My goal is to help you gain insight, develop new skills, and create meaningful changes that enhance your well-being and quality of life.
