My Background and Approach
I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 13 years of clinical experience. My approach combines evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with insight-oriented work. This means we focus on practical tools to manage anxiety, stress, depression, and ADHD while also exploring the patterns that contribute to emotional distress. I take a direct, structured, and collaborative approach. Clients often leave sessions with clearer direction, practical strategies, and a stronger sense of control over their emotions. My goal is not only symptom relief, but lasting change.
