About My Clients
To me, an ideal client is someone who is willing to come to sessions and talk freely about whatever they would like. (I know, that can be harder than it sounds.) I enjoy working with people of any background and life experience. I believe that the only way that I can become a truly accepting clinician is to have a willingness to work with all who reach out for help regardless of how they identify or their life experience.
My Background and Approach
I am trained in psychoanalytic psychotherapy and am currently an advanced clinical doctoral candidate at the Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis. My training allows for deeper exploration regardless of one's symptoms or reasons for seeking therapy. I am licensed to practice in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Florida and have physical offices in Hartford, CT and Brookline, MA.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that it takes a lot of courage to be willing to start something as vulnerable as a therapeutic relationship. I do my personal best to be just as willing to give my attention to someone who is reaching out because I know the tenacity it takes to reach out to a therapist for the first time. Consultations are always free because I believe that is the best way for both participants to see and feel if working together will be a good fit. Please reach out!
