About My Clients
I work with adults who are carrying trauma, anxiety, relationship wounds, identity questions, or the pressure of always having to be “okay.” Many of my clients feel emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or stuck in patterns that once helped them survive. I especially enjoy supporting LGBTQIA+ clients, first-generation clients, and people exploring attachment, family dynamics, self-worth, and more honest connection.
My Background and Approach
My background includes work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, identity, relationships, emotional overwhelm, and attachment wounds. I approach therapy as a collaborative relationship where you can feel seen, challenged, and supported without judgment. I draw from trauma-informed care, relational therapy, EMDR, IFS, CBT, mindfulness, and experiential approaches. In our work together, we may explore how your past has shaped your nervous system, relationships, protective patterns, and sense of self. I do not believe therapy is about forcing change or “fixing” who you are. I believe healing often begins with understanding the parts of you that have been trying to protect you, while building new ways to feel safe, connected, and more fully yourself.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing happens in relationship. Many of us are shaped by the families, cultures, communities, systems, and experiences we have survived. Therapy can be a place to slow down, make meaning, and begin relating to yourself with more honesty and compassion. I believe people are not broken. Often, the patterns we struggle with began as ways to stay safe, connected, accepted, or in control. My hope is to help you understand those patterns without shame, while building more choice in how you live, love, communicate, and care for yourself. I also believe therapy should honor the fullness of who you are, including your culture, identity, relationships, spirituality, values, and lived experience.
