I will help you to reach the goals you desire for a happier life. I work with women and men as well as couples. Relationship issues are a specialty. I offer a hopful approach with compassion and understanding.
My Background and Approach
I am a graduate of the University of Kansas and moved to Denver, Colorado shortly after. I use short term brief model, Jungian psychology, trauma trained approach. As a couples counselor I use the Gottamn method and have lead many seminars using a postive approach. I am trained in CBT, DBT, crisis intervention and have over 12 years counseling our military members and families.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe change and growth are easy to obtain with the counsleor assisting you in your process. I enjoy my work and emphasize good self care practices. I love the outdoors and bike in the summer, snow shoe and cross country ski in the winter. I use healthy lifestyle practices with my clinets as a vital way to enjoy good mental health.
