I believe in a strong, therapeutic relationship as the foundation of successful counseling. I provide respect, warmth, and a nonjudgmental environment for each client. Though I may not be able to change your circumstances; I can offer support, tools, and encouragement to help you change what you can and accept the things you cannot change.
My Background and Approach
Are you the parent of a teen or adult struggling with addiction, an eating disorder, depression, anxiety, or ADHD? Are you finding it difficult to maneuver through what your role may be in this journey? I have walked in your shoes and understand your feelings of helplessness and hope. I want to collaborate with you by providing support, education and understanding of these disorders, setting appropriate boundaries, and healthy self-care. If you are the teen or adult who is struggling with these complex issues; I can provide empathy and solution focused treatment to motivate you for change. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a broad spectrum of experience which includes: Inpatient Psychiatric, Outpatient Group, Residential Treatment, and Private Practice. I utilize a client-centered approach to therapy incorporating CBT, DBT, Family Systems, and Motivational Interviewing.
