About My Clients
Much of my clinical experience has focused on working with children/teens, adults, and families process trauma, improve emotion regulation, and strengthen relationships. I have a special interest and focus on working with neurodivergent and/or LGBTQ+ individuals.
My Background and Approach
I work from a trauma-informed perspective and enjoy being creative with clients. I bring a deep understanding of how our identities and life experiences can shape our mental health. While I tend to be client-centered, I do implement a variety of therapeutic models including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and art/play therapy techniques. I am also trained in Exposure and Response Prevention for OCD. I enjoy providing psychoeducation from an affirming perspective to neurodivergent clients and assisting with improving burnout and self-esteem.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Part of the LGBTQ+ community and queer affirming. Knowledgeable and experienced in working with consensual non monogamy/open relationships. Neurodivergent and affirming of all neurotypes.
