About My Clients

I offer individual and couples therapy.

My Background and Approach

My work is influenced by psychodynamic, strength-based, and cognitive-behavioral approaches. I care to understand your family history, relationships with others and self, and cultural contexts that make up your identity. Simultaneously, I care to help you identify different ways to approach stagnant areas in your life, explore barriers to positive changes, and support you in ways to practice wanted behaviors in the here and now. I am dedicated to staying curious, meeting you where you are and exploring your expansive self in a judgment-free environment. As a woman therapist of color, I am also aware of the dynamics of power, oppression, and marginalization. For example, I am eager to address experiences of racial or gender discrimination and how those experiences may have shaped how you interact with the world.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Before pivoting into counseling, I spent several years in corporate fashion, which informs my work when working with adults under fast-paced and high-stress environments. My corporate experience also informs my passion in creating a space where you can comfortably show up as your whole self.
