About My Clients
I enjoy working with high functioning, successful people who still hear that voice saying, "you are not good enough." Together, we will work on challenging that voice and eventually get rid of it so you can have all of the happiness you deserve! I do my best work with survivors of sexual abuse and/or trauma as well as people wanting to re-invest in their relationship.
My Background and Approach
I am trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Moral Reconation Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Animal-Assisted therapy. I received my master's degree in Social Work from the University of Denver and my bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. I have over 10 years of experience working with Veterans and their families. Most importantly, I don't pretend to know what is best for you. I do not give advice or tell you what to do. I work with you to identify what is best for you and the best way to met your own goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I enjoy working with diverse people and believe that every client's journey is their own. I believe that everyone's healing, learning, and growth should be different and enjoy using art, animals, and volunteering to help along the way.
