About My Clients
My clients struggle as you do. Despite being ambitious, dedicated, and high-achieving, life is hard. When they first come to see me, they feel exhausted from trying to keep everything together and are afraid to let anyone in. For so long they have minimized their pain by just saying “I’m good” and “I’m fine.” They live under pressure to perform at work, school, home, or with daily responsibilities feeling like they’re always racing against the clock but never quite reaching their goals.
My Background and Approach
I work with achievement-driven young adults who struggle on the inside with constant worry, people-pleasing, and covering up their hurt. You may be tired of not feeling like yourself. It’s hard to even know who that person is at times because you’re spread so thin, feeling you’re always letting someone down. You may try to keep everything together while navigating school, professional life, a ministry role, family relationships, or marriage and let’s be honest, it’s lonely at times and you need a safe space to bring your concerns without judgment. I would love to provide that space for you so you can show up more fully as a student, spouse, friend, or any of the other many roles you own. Having my own experiences with this (which will differ from yours), you will be met with understanding. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
While my journey of discovering how my story fits into God's greater story inspires my work as a therapist, I acknowledge that each of our experiences and points at which we are in our spiritual journey will differ. You are welcome to share with me your comfort level in integrating faith into your therapy. So whether you don’t acknowledge faith or are looking for Christian Counseling, I hope this can be a safe and fruitful space for your therapy needs!
