About My Clients
My clients are often insightful, reflective people who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck despite “doing all the right things.” I work with teens, adults, & couples navigating trauma, identity exploration, emotional regulation, and relationship challenges. I frequently support LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent clients, as well as those healing from religious or relational trauma. My clients are seeking deeper self-understanding, not just symptom relief.
My Background and Approach
I am a psychotherapy intern working toward licensure in clinical mental health counseling. My background includes work in higher levels of care and supporting clients navigating trauma, anxiety, OCD, identity exploration, and emotional regulation. I take a relational, collaborative approach, helping clients feel safe enough to explore what is happening beneath the surface rather than rushing toward quick fixes. My work is informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, and somatic approaches. I help clients understand their internal patterns, protective strategies, and nervous system responses, while building greater self-trust and emotional flexibility. Therapy with me is thoughtful and paced, balancing insight with body-based awareness so change feels sustainable rather than overwhelming. I strive to create a space that is affirming, nonjudgmental, and grounded in curiosity. Clients often describe our work as reflective, grounding, and supportive of meaningful change in how they rel
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I approach therapy through a social justice–informed and anti-oppressive lens. I believe emotional distress does not exist in a vacuum and is often shaped by systems of power, identity, culture, and lived experience. My work is grounded in honoring each client’s autonomy, dignity, and inherent worth. I am a member of the LGBTQIA+ community and am deeply committed to providing affirming, inclusive care. I strive to create a space where clients of diverse sexual orientations, gender identities, neurotypes, belief systems, and backgrounds feel respected and understood. I am especially mindful of the impact of religious trauma, marginalization, and chronic stress related to identity and belonging. I value collaboration, consent, and curiosity in the therapeutic relationship. I believe healing happens when people feel safe enough to show up as their full selves and are met with compassion, accountability, and care.
