About My Clients

If you're the one everyone leans on but you're quietly running on empty, you're in the right place. I work with people-pleasers, the driven & depleted, and women navigating life transitions who are ready to stop performing and start feeling safe in their own skin. I also work with couples and premarital partners who want a deeper, more honest connection. Wherever you're starting from, my goal is the same: help you feel seen, heard, and reconnected at your Core.

My Background and Approach

Before private practice, I worked at a community counseling center, seeing nearly every kind of client and struggle there is. That taught me one thing: not everything works for everyone. Some people need stabilization first. Others are working against patterns that kept them safe for decades but left them living lives they no longer recognize or like. That shaped how I practice now. At the core, most people are looking for the same thing: secure attachment & understanding of the smart, protective ways they learned to guard themselves years ago that now get in the way. With couples, I use Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy to find the vulnerable fear underneath your cycle & build new patterns of turning toward each other. I don't hand you strategies or coping skills. The work is building real self-understanding, until you start seeing these patterns everywhere, in everything you do. Once you see it, you can choose, when you're ready, to take the risk of doing something different.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe change happens relationally, with, by, and through others, not just inside your own head. That's why the experiential piece of counseling matters so much to me. I know this firsthand: my own marriage hit a stuck, disconnected point after twelve years, and it was couples counseling that helped us find our way back to each other. While we worked on that, I started my own individual counseling too, and found my way back to myself after overachieving in every corner of my life: the PTA mom, the ROTC cadet, the daughter still chasing her parents' approval well into motherhood. That experience is what led me to this work. At my core, inclusivity and equality aren't optional; they're foundational to safety. Your lived experience, whatever your ethnicity, culture, gender, or sexuality, will be valued and accepted as part of who you are. Come as you are. You'll be safe, accepted, and protected here.
